Ordinary Loans - Salient Features

1. Objective: The object of the scheme is to provide credit for purposes not covered by schemes where formulation of schemes are not feasible or practicable due to constraints like lack of backward linkage, Infrastructure etc.

2. Purpose: It includes Productive Purposes(90% of allocation) and Non Productive Purposes(10% of allocation). In the Productive Purposes 63% of allocation is for Easily Identifiable Productive Purpose and 27% allocation for Non Productive Purposes.

3. Unit Cost: As prescribed by NABARD under Farm Sector will be applicable.

4. Individual Maximum Borrowing Power: Individual Maximum Borrowing Power is Rs. 3,00,000/-

5. Margin: The minimum down payment to be collected from the beneficiaries is 5%. The obligatory share capital contribution at the PCARDB level to a maximum of 15% as per category.

6. Repayment of loan: Maximum of 10 years without any grace period.

7. Security: As fixed by the Apex Bank in the respective loan rules, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the RBI/NABARD/RCS.

8. Rate of Interest: Interest rate will be fixed by KSCARDB from time to time, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the RCS/NABARD/ RBI.

9. Reporting System: The monthly ordinary loan disbursement progress statement should be furnished in the prescribed format.
